Xanthi Basiouka

Member of the Athens Bar Association since 2005 (attorney before the Supreme Court of Greece).
Graduate of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Postgraduate diploma in Criminal Law (Master Recherche 2 Matière Pénale) at the Aix-Marseille III- Paul Cezanne University, France.
Traineeship at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France (2009).
Attendance of Criminal Law seminars organised by the Athens Bar Association, conferences, and other scientific events of the Hellenic Criminal Bar Association and the Hellenic Association of the Criminal Law.
She handles major white-collar and other criminal law cases, in every stage of the criminal procedure, as well as civil cases. She has also drafted applications before the ECHR concerning criminal cases.
